How it works:
Safety is the first priority. The bicycle or
golf bag is
carried in line with the motorcycle without
compromising balance and low enough to stay
out of the wind to avoid creating
resistance. The bicycle is carried in
a way to not add any undo stress to the
frame members of the bicycle, or the cables
of the bicycle, while protecting the paint
and finish.
The system is a fully adjustable rack which
works to carry either road bikes or mountain
bikes using two mounting points. A quick
release for the front fork of the bike
secures it to the rack. Then, a patented
crank arm holder, which only comes in
contact with the bike's crank, holds the
left crank arm down in a cuff while a hitch
pin slides over the arm to securely attach
the rear of the bike to the motorcycle.
The bottom bracket and lower frame members
of the bicycle do not contact anything that
could scratch the paint.
The bike or golf bag rack on the motorcycle rides in
line with the driver of the motorcycle and
at a profile lower than the rider. There is
no noticeable weight shift or wind effect
from the bike being attached to the bike.
The detached front wheel of the bicycle
stores in a wheel fork along side the bike
but not in contact with either motorcycle or
bicycle.
